Question: How much does it cost to get legal advice from Beightons Solicitors?

Answer: We offer all clients free initial advice (maximum duration 30 minutes) on any legal matter

 

Question: Do I need an appointment?

Answer: Appointments are not always needed. We offer a legal surgery, whereby we aim under normal circumstances to have someone available to see clients between 12 noon and 2pm, Monday to Friday. Appointments, including home visits are available at all other times. To arrange an appointment, please call our office on 01332 - 346430.

 

Question: If I require legal advice in an area of law not mentioned within your website, where can I obtain advice and representation?

Answer: Here. Our free initial consultation covers any area of law. If we do not specialise in the field you require help in we shall endeavour to refer you to another specialist Solicitor, at no cost.

 

Question: I'm buying a house, why do I need a Solicitor?

Answer: The law provides that only certain qualified Lawyers can deal with property transactions. Our fees start at £299 plus VAT. Ring us for the most competative quotation in the area. And you will be suprised at the excellent service that you will receive.

 

Question: What is a HIP?

Answer: A "HIP" is a Home Information Pack. It is a package of information that the seller of a property has to prepare, before it is put on the market for sale.

 

Question: Why should I make a will?

Answer: Some of the main reasons to make a will are as follows: To leave your estate to the person/people of your choice, for example; your spouse, partner, children, friends. To appoint guardians to look after your children. To save inheritance tax. To avoid your estate being used up paying for Care Fees. To avoid disputes.
